Getting started
A short version of the in-app wizard. For every App Store Connect click, including Issuer ID, Key ID, and the one-time .p8 download, read How to use this app. Credentials stay in the macOS Keychain.
- 1
Create an App Store Connect API key
In App Store Connect → Users and Access → Integrations → App Store Connect API, create a key. Admin is recommended the first time so Appris can create Analytics Report Requests.
Download the
.p8private key file — Apple only lets you download it once. Note the Key ID and Issuer ID. - 2
Drop the .p8 into Appris
Open Appris and paste Issuer ID + Key ID, then drop
AuthKey_XXXXX.p8onto the drop target. The key is stored in the macOS Keychain — never uploaded. - 3
Enter your Vendor Number
Required for sales and subscription reports. Find it under Payments and Financial Reports in App Store Connect (the number next to your vendor name).
- 4
Verify access & pick apps
Run capability checks so Appris can show exactly which Apple APIs work with your key. Then select one or more apps to track — you can change this later in Settings.
- 5
First sync — what to expect
- Reviews — usually finish in seconds.
- Subscriptions & sales — may take several minutes; reports lag until Apple publishes (typically next day ~8am PT).
- Analytics — first delivery often takes 24–48 hours. You'll see "Waiting on Apple" until segments arrive.
Data lands in a private warehouse at
~/Library/Application Support/ASCInsights/warehouse.sqlite.
